How it was done
What is the challenge faced?
During the product development, data from each phase is recorded on paper; no digital tools are used throughout the plant. This approach creates a discrepancy between the physical and digital processes.
The project’s objective:
Ensure that the allocation of raw material consumption at the time of manufacturing is done without errors and in the shortest possible time
Action plan:
To address this situation, an application integrated with Business Central was designed and implemented, featuring a simple and intuitive interface for plant personnel. This application facilitates the traceability of available and consumed batches, and it instantly updates the stock with each movement performed. To ensure workers understand and adapt to the application, training and support sessions were conducted.
What has changed?
Initially, three different people spent four hours over two days on each batch of finished product.
After the application implementation, two people spend half an hour at the moment of manufacturing.
ACHIEVEMENT:
Ensure traceability at the production line level.
